Yabbaloumba Retreat is a 200-acre working farm that hosts four luxury cottages overlooking the lake, plus seven Shed Quarter rooms and 10 campsites.

For event bookings there are 7 additional rooms in our Shed Quarter accommodation for up to 18 guests, plus 10 campsites with amenities for 20-25 campers.

  • "Absolutely stunning !! My partner and I took a night out last monday to enjoy a week end away before working again. And it was worth it. The location is beautiful, their is a little balcony where you can enjoy the view of the valley and birds come directly and eat crackers from the palm of your hands. It is exceptionally clean, great decor with the fire place. The Spa is delightful. Convenient kitchen and bathroom. The owners are awesome people, super friendly, hardworking and really nice. You have everything ready to make yourself some breakfast in the morning and the lady came and gave us warm croissant straight from the bakery. So yummy !! Is a little touch like that who makes all the difference. The scenery is just fantastic, with sheep, cow and wild birds such as cacatoes all around. Definitely recommend. We will certainly go back next year."

Experience Yabbaloumba Retreat as a working farm and community venue in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Across summer we open our gates for public Sunflower Days, and during the school term we host engaging, curriculum-friendly farm visits for kindy and primary groups.

If travelling NORTH from Brisbane

Take Exit 188 (Steve Irwin Way). Follow to Landsborough and onward to Maleny. Take Maleny Kenilworth Road (Tourist Route 22) west out of Maleny town through Conondale for approx. 30kms, and turn left into Booloumba Creek Road. We are approx. 1.18km on the right.

If travelling SOUTH from Gympie

Take Exit 224 (Eumundi-Kenilworth Road). Follow to Kenilworth and pass through town. Continue on Maleny Kenilworth Road (Tourist Route 22) for approx. 6kms, and turn right into Booloumba Creek Road. We are approx. 1.18kms on the right.
